Hi Thunderscorpion here, I saw the second Berserk movie Battle for Doldrey I was disappointed it was like watching Berserk in on fast forward and there were times when the CG was stiff and they cut too much of the story I really think the old anime is better I hate when they use flash backs without any contexts for people who didn’t watch the older anime or read the Manga I can image them being very confused. I’ll watch the next Berserk movie Descent, but if things don’t slow down and get better than I may drop the movies all together. I’ve been watching the Deltora Quest anime lately, only the English Sub version I hate the dub of this anime with a passion. I actually like the anime better than the manga, the anime is much better righted then the manga, but the Book is better than both. I really enjoy these reviews and I hope you will too.
The issue starts with Rasl and agent crow in a heated discussion about the Tesla journals when Sal shoots at Rasl and miss. Adams orders her men to arrest Sal, but Sal suddenly kills her and her men instead as Rasl use’s his machine to escape to a parallel world. Meanwhile, Rasl dust himself off and call’s Uma asking her to meet him at Lucky’s Bar when they both arrive and Rasl orders a drink, but he suddenly interrupted when Sal walks in gun’s blazing as everyone duck’s for cover and Rasl quickly gets the drop on Sal tying him up and leaving him in the Bar’s freezer. The issue end’s with Rasl and Uma driving out into the desert as they park in a secluded location and share a passionate kiss and a certain little creepy girl appears looking in through their window. Why didn’t Rasl just kill Sal when he had the chance. Also that creepy girl is so cool always showing up at random. ( 8 out of 10 )
Age of Reptiles: The Hunt #1
The issue begins with a mother and child dino lounging underneath a seemingly unstable rock formation when a trio of horned carnivores attacks them and the mother dino is killed, but the young one is able to escape. Several session’s later the young dinosaur has grown and is still being hunted by the same pack of horned carnivores when the chase leads the pursued dino, which I’ll be calling the Red carnivore from now on for account of its looks, hides inside the corp.’s of a large dead dinosaur, and I though they smelt bad on the outside…. meanwhile, he takes off as the horned dinos start eating his hiding place and after running though the desert and eating a few small blue dinos with a taste for tongue, must be French…. the red carnivore takes in some well needed rest before wakening up surrounded by the horned dinos, when suddenly the ground beneath them caves in and they fall into an underground cavern. the issue ends with the Red carnivore discovering a light in the tunnel as the horned dinos crowd him from behind causing them all to fall out off a ledge and into a canyon river below. so far the first Age of Reptiles comic is still the best, but this was great too. Baltimore: The Curse Bells #5
The story continues with the bells having been rung and the towns people having been turned into mindless zombies as Lord Baltimore is curiously unaffected by the curse and is able to strike down the Barbarian’s feathered servant as he then fights his way through the halls of Vampire Nuns before it is revealed that the Barbarian man is the incarnation of Hitler or something like that, as he exclaims his aspirations for conquest and it finally becomes clear to the tainted Nuns that his promise to cure them was a lie so they seek their redemption in feasting on his flesh. Elsewhere Haigus and Blavatsky from a kind of alliance before Baltimore arrives and Haigus turn’s into A Bat and flees. Then Baltimore frees MR. Hodge from his cell as he cleverly avoided the effects of the curse by plugging his ears, they bear witness to the vampire Nuns as they let them self’s burn in the sun light reduced to ash and the issue ends with Lord Baltimore and MR. Hodge parting ways as the Inquisitor later revisits the convent and seeks MR. Hodge for Questioning. ( 8 out of 10 ).
